Strut Bump Stops - Energy Suspension
What are strut bump stops? They are a bushing that rides over the strut's center rod. Their function is to prevent bottoming out of the strut center rod within the strut itself when the strut is nearing it's maximum compression. Basically they are like a shock absorber for the strut and spring, adding a cushion to help prevent the car from bottoming out and damaging the more expensive parts.
